Summer Mountain Camp – Benasque Valley
Looking for the best summer mountain camp for your children? If you want them to connect with nature, learn teamwork, and develop independence in a safe environment, a new edition of the most comprehensive youth camp in the Benasque Valley (Huesca) is coming soon.
Organized by the Llanos del Hospital Sports Association in collaboration with Mon Benás, this program is specifically designed for young people who want to discover the secrets of hiking, orienteering, and mountaineering in the heart of the Pyrenees.

Dates: July 6-10, 2026
Recommended Age: 10-16 years old
General Schedule: Approximately 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM (varies depending on the day's excursion)

A Program Full of Adventure and Learning
Each day has a different objective to guarantee real progress in the alpine environment:
Monday, July 6 (Ventamillo Gorge): Introduction to orienteering and map reading in the field.
Tuesday, July 7 (Remuñe Valley and Literola): Advanced map and compass techniques (triangulation and northing) against the backdrop of the imposing Perdiguero massif.
Wednesday, July 8 (Alba and Turpí Gorges): Orienteering game with a search for markers and a practical workshop on knots and self-rescue.
Thursday, July 9 and Friday, July 10 (Aigüeta La Ball): The highlight of the week! An incredible high-mountain traverse with an overnight bivouac in a free mountain refuge, finishing on Friday in Sahún.
Want to complete the month of July with activities?
New this year are two additional and complementary activities to extend your Pyrenees experience: the Posets Circle (July 14-16) and the Aneto Circle (with two nights in the Renclusa and Cap de Llauset mountain huts, July 21-23).
