Gran Trail Trangoworld Aneto Posets
Thursday 17th to Sunday 20th of July, 2025
Valle de Benasque

The Gran Trail Trangoworld Aneto-Posets is a great sporting event of mountain races, which are conceived by and for authentic mountain enthusiasts.

  • The race par excellence is the one that gives its name to the event, the Gran Trail Aneto-Posets, with 105Km and 6760m+ accumulated vertical drop, runs over all types of terrain, from tracks and trails to snowfields and chaos of blocks surrounding the two highest peaks in the Pyrenees: the Aneto (3,404m) and the Posets (3,375m).
  • Round the Aneto, 55 km / 3 630 m+, it goes around the Maladeta massif passing through high passes, such as Salenques (2 808 m), passing the Cap de Llauset and Coronas refuges, the Tuca d'Estibafreda (2 691 m) and the Sierra Negra, and passing through a myriad of lakes and other landscapes of the high Pyrenean mountains.
  • Marathon of the Tucas, 42 km / 2 500 m+, links the refuges of Estós and Ángel Orús via tracks and paths around the famous Tucas de Ixeia (2 840 m), in a superb Pyrenean setting.
  • Vertical kilometre, 5.4 km / 980 m+, runs along one of the most famous paths in the Benasque Valley and with some of the best views of the entire Maladetas massif. This is the ascent to Pico Salvaguardia (2,735m) from Llanos del Hospital (1,750m).
  • Tour of Cerler, 26.9 km / 1,250m+, a half marathon Tour of Cerler Peak runs along tracks and paths that link Benasque with other towns and places nearby, taking Cerler Peak as a reference point and one of the best areas for alpine skiing in the Pyrenees.
  • Tour of Molino to Cerler, 10.8 km / 460 m+, runs along tracks and paths linking the village of Benasque with the towns of Anciles and Cerler. It is a perfect route for beginners in this type of mountain races in the heart of the Pyrenees and for those under 18 years of age.
