These free sessions are designed to improve your safety, technique, and equipment knowledge, drawing on the experience of mountain guides, elite athletes, and safety experts.
Event Program in Benasque
The presentations will take place in the emblematic Palace of the Counts of Ribagorza and will cover the three fundamental pillars of a successful outing: equipment, planning, and safety.
1. Inside a Skimo Collection: From Athlete to Fabric
Speakers: Trangoworld Team and María Ciria (ski instructor).
Content: Discover how high-performance and recreational technical clothing is designed, optimizing breathability and protection.
2. Before you put on your skis: how to read the mountain from home (6:45 - 7:20 pm)
Speaker: MASPIRINEO, mountain guide.
Content: Safety starts before you leave. Learn to interpret avalanche bulletins, high-mountain weather, and choose the safest route according to terrain conditions in the Aragonese Pyrenees.
3. First aid and emergencies in ski mountaineering
Speaker: Chechu Arribas (ski patroller at the Cerler ski resort).
Content: Action protocols for snow accidents and emergency management in isolated environments.
