In the historic center of Cerler, at over 1,500 meters, La Borda del Mastín has a charm that can't be faked: a restored old farmhouse, with stone walls, high ceilings, and a warm atmosphere that's appealing both in winter and on any mountain night. In this new phase, the project is led by Nacho, with a very clear idea: to take care of the place and the service so that everyone feels "at home." This is evident in the pace, the attentive service, and the way they welcome you back, making you feel like you're not just "another table."
The cuisine is genuine and prepared with love: select grilled meats take center stage, along with stews featuring game, meat, and river fish, complemented by a wine cellar designed for enjoyment and a mountain recipe book with comforting dishes (migas, onion soup, chireta…).
